- Insufficient Memory Errors

Problem
While
working with the HP48G Body Composition calculator you may
notice the program stop functioning during certain memory
intensive operations, like printing the weight loss graph,
and will see the following message on the screen:

Cause
This
can occur when the unit's memory becomes too full and unable
to process further commands. Pressing the calculator's function
keys while the Body Composition program is running, or pressing
keys too quickly can cause a low memory condition.
Solution
If
the error message is still on the screen, press the button
twice to clear the screen and get back to the [HOME] screen.
- Once
at the [HOME] screen, press [ON][C]. You will see the following
menu bar on the bottom of the screen:

- Press
[GREEN-SHIFT][VAR]. You will see OBJECTS IN { HOME } on
the screen.
- Press
[ON][C]
- Press
[PURPLE-SHIFT][VAR]. You will see the following menu bar
on the bottom of the screen:
- Press
[A], corresponding with MEM on the menu bar. A value will
be displayed on the screen above the menu bar.
- Press
[CST]. You will see the following menu bar on the bottom
of the screen:

Note: If you see a blank menu bar on the screen, the
Body Composition program is no longer stored in memory and
the calculator must be returned to BIO|ANALOGICS for reprogramming.
Call (800) 327-7953 for a Return Authorization Number and
shipping instructions.
- Press
[A], corresponding to the letters BC (for Body
Composition) on the screen.
You
should now see the BIO|ANALOGICS beginning screen. Press [ENTER]
to begin entering body composition data.
